I guess my point, is that there's always a lot of energy put into the effort to delegitimize protest, whether peaceful, or not. People who think Lenin was the master of manipulation of discontent and anti-Government sentiments, should really look into the work of Gene Sharp, whose writings and theory have been capitalized upon by the CIA, State Department (USAID, NED, etc) and Pentagon, for the purposes of weaponized "Regime Change" efforts. And I'll guess that our DoJ and cop "Riot" experts, didn't look too hard into the tactics used by the CIA, to overthrow Mossadegh in Iran, with Operation AJAX. It too, involved the use of apparently organic street protests, to depose a democratically elected Government - to replace it with a brutal Monarch, the Shah, Reza Palavi.
The media should be made accountable. There was no 'immigration roundup' when the riots started. What actually happened is that ICE had a warrant for arrest of the owner of Ambiance Apparel. In 2020, the business and its owner, Sang Bum 'Ed' Noh were accused by federal prosecutors of undervaluing imports and skirting millions of dollars in tariffs. Ambiance Apparel pleaded guilty to eight offenses, such as conspiracy and money laundering, and Noh was sentenced to a year in prison. New invesitgations generated a new search warrant on suspicion that he continued to defraud on taxes. No one was rounding up immigrants.
So, the cause of the riots were completely made up.
C'mon... Who wrote that "The Riot Makers" flick? Sheriff Bull Conors? "Out-side Agi-taytahs" 🤣. You see, black folks can't even Riot, without white people telling them what to do...🤦. Who led the Rodney King uprisings?
Anyways - not that it's 100%... He was my neighbor in Santa Monica - cool enough guy... But Tom Hayden has been accused of being some kind of CIA asset, from the New Left, and the infiltration of SDS and the student protest movements of the 60's... If so, it would be the same pattern we always see - blaming the Russians, for everything the CIA actually does.
